I honestly don’t even know where to begin because Colette is so much more than just a real estate agent to me.
Three years ago, Colette toured a home with me for the first time. At the time, I ended up not buying and, honestly, I kind of went silent. 😭 But Colette was never anything but kind, positive, and understanding. It was never a “no” with her. She was always willing to help, answer questions, g… o the extra mile, and do more than I even knew to ask for because she genuinely wanted to make sure I was getting the best.
She always made me feel like she was on MY side.
Even though I didn’t buy a home with her back then, she would still randomly text me, send emails, check in, and even offered me a free pie for Thanksgiving one year. 🥹 She was always so giving and thoughtful, and I never forgot that. I remember thinking, If I ever buy a home, I know exactly who I’m going to call.
Three years later, I was finally ready.
And Colette toured what feels like at least 50 homes with us. 😂 We literally started at 9 AM one day and didn’t finish until 5 PM. I was SO picky, had a million questions, and because it was my first home purchase, I had a lot of anxiety about everything. I’m sure there were moments when she probably thought, “Oh my goodness…” 😂 but she never once made me feel difficult, annoying, or like I was asking too much.
She was always patient. Always reassuring. Always willing to look at one more house.
And somehow, through all of it, she made the whole experience FUN.
It genuinely felt like I had my own personal secretary, older sister, real estate agent, interior designer, therapist, and cheerleader all in one. 😂🤍 She would help me think through things I hadn’t even considered and always made me feel like I had someone looking out for me.
And I have to mention… she even BROKE/INJURED HER NAIL during one of our tours because the keys were so difficult to get to. 😭😂 Yet she still walked around smiling, stayed professional, and was just as sweet as ever.
At first, I was honestly a little intimidated by Colette because she is SO beautiful and put together. 😂 But the more I got to know her, the more I realized how genuinely warm, kind, humble, and caring she is.
The past few months of looking for our home with her have been exhausting — probably especially for HER 😂 — but they are memories I will always cherish. I’m actually sad that the home-buying journey is over because I’m going to miss seeing her all the time.
I literally told my boyfriend that I wish we could just buy another house so we could spend more time with Colette. 😂😭
That’s how much I love her.
From the bottom of my heart, I feel so incredibly lucky that I got the opportunity to meet Colette three years ago and that she was still there for me when I was finally ready. She never made me feel like I had to buy something, never made me feel rushed, and never stopped being genuinely supportive.
She made one of the biggest and most stressful decisions of my life feel safe, exciting, and so much more enjoyable.
We truly feel so blessed to have had Colette by our side through this entire process. 🤍
